Resonance by Hartmut Rosa (1)
Aktualisiert: Juni 11
"If acceleration is the problem, then perhaps resonance is the solution." Built on the idea of the satisfying effect of vibrating relations Hartmut Rosa, German sociologist, examines forms of and conditions for "moments of resonance in which our wire to the world begins to vibrate intensely, in which our relationship to the world begins to breath".
Personally, Rosa's concept of resonance resonates strongly with me and I am in the course of digging deeper into his "sociology of our relationship to the world" or as he puts it, the gestalt of a good life.
